Lower Moss Wood Educational Nature Reserve and Wildlife Hospital

The wood is a short way from Knutsford, just off School Lane in Ollerton. Please use the map above and follow signs once you are on School Lane. There is no public through-route into the reserve; the entrance is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.
Please do not arrive unannounced.
Lower Moss Wood is not open to the general public. Visits to the reserve and education centre are by prior arrangement only, for organised parties such as schools, societies, natural history groups and groups with disabilities.
The wildlife hospital is a working hospital. It is not a visitor attraction. If you are bringing a sick, injured or orphaned wild animal or bird, please telephone first so the team can advise you.
